Short answer: You no longer need the waitlist to use MeetNow. MeetNow is live on the web at app.trymeetnow.com, starting in Malta, so you can open it and see the plans near you today. The iPhone and Android apps are coming soon to the App Store and Google Play, and the form on the MeetNow homepage now simply keeps you posted about the phone apps. To use it, enter your first name and email address, optionally add where you would use MeetNow, the kinds of plans you would join and which phone you use, tick the box to be emailed, and press “Join the waitlist”.
How to join the MeetNow waitlist for phone app updates
If you simply want to use MeetNow, skip the form and open MeetNow in your browser. The form is for people who want an email when the iPhone and Android apps are released.
- Open the form. Go to the form on the MeetNow homepage. On a phone, scroll down the homepage until you reach it.
- Enter your first name. This is how we will greet you in the email.
- Enter your email address. This is where the phone app email goes, so check it for typos.
- Say where you would use MeetNow (optional). For example Valletta, Sliema or St Julian’s. MeetNow is live on the web starting in Malta.
- Tick the plans you would join (optional). The options are coffee or drinks, dinner, sports and outdoors, board games, language exchange, and concerts and events. Tick as many as you like.
- Choose your phone (optional). iPhone or Android, so we know which store matters most to you.
- Tick “Email me when MeetNow launches”. This box is required, because the email about the phone apps is the whole point of the form. The form notes that you can unsubscribe at any time.
- Press “Join the waitlist”. You will see a “You’re on the list!” message. There is nothing to install: in the meantime you can use MeetNow on the web.
Only your first name, your email and the email box are required. The place, plan types and phone questions are optional and you can leave them blank.

What happens after you join
Once you have submitted the form, you are on the list. When the iPhone and Android apps are released, we will email you at the address you gave. We have not announced a date for the phone apps, so we will not promise one here; the email is how you will find out.
In the meantime, you can use MeetNow on the web and get ready:
- Read what MeetNow is and how it works, so the app feels familiar from day one.
- Think of a plan you would like to host. Our guide on how to host a plan on MeetNow walks through the steps: a public place, a date and time, seats and who pays.
- If you are in Malta, have a look at how MeetNow works in Malta for plan ideas that suit the island.
Why the optional questions help
The place, plan-type and phone questions are optional, but they are useful. MeetNow works best when there are plenty of plans nearby, and knowing where people would use it and what they like to do helps us focus. If you tick “Dinner” and “Sports & outdoors”, for example, we know there is interest in those kinds of plans where you are. Knowing whether you use an iPhone or an Android phone tells us which store matters most to you.
If you are not sure what to choose, think about the last time you wished you had company: a concert, a padel game, a walk, a new restaurant. Those are exactly the plans MeetNow is for.

If the form does not work
- You cannot see the form. Scroll down the homepage to the “Early access” section. If it still does not appear, a content or script blocker may be hiding it; try another browser or turn the blocker off for this site.
- The form will not submit. Check that your first name and email are filled in and that the “Email me when MeetNow launches” box is ticked; the form will not send without them.
- You made a typo in your email. Simply fill in the form again with the correct address.
If you are not in Malta
MeetNow is live on the web starting in Malta, and that is the only market we have announced. You can still open the web app wherever you are, join the list and tell us where you would use it; we will not guess at dates or places beyond Malta.
Your details and privacy
The waitlist is there so we can email you about the phone apps, and the form notes that you can unsubscribe at any time. For how this site handles personal data, see the MeetNow privacy policy. If you have a question about your details, use the contact page on this site.
Is the waitlist the same as an early-access sign-up?
Yes. On the homepage you will see “join the waitlist for early access”: it is the same form. There is no separate early-access programme to apply for: MeetNow is already live on the web at app.trymeetnow.com. Once MeetNow is in the App Store and Google Play, the email will tell you.
